Application for 2027 MOE Financial Assistance Scheme
Dear Parents/Guardians,
Singapore Citizens who need financial assistance on school fees and other schooling expenses can apply for MOE Financial Assistance Scheme (FAS), subject to the income eligibility criteria.
2. Please refer to the attached Information Sheet and pamphlets for more details on the eligibility criteria and benefits for the 2027 MOE FAS.
3. From 12 October 2026, parents/guardians can apply for 2027 MOE FAS via the new Student Finance System (SFS) e-Services portal using Singpass, through:
Parents Gateway app (Services -> Financial Assistance) or
Website at https://studentfinance.moe.gov.sg (opens in new tab)
4. Parents/Guardians only need to submit 1 application form even if the children are studying in different government and government-aided schools, independent schools, specialised schools, and specialised independent schools (NUS High School of Mathematics and Science, and School of Science and Technology). The school will notify you of the outcome of your application and you may also track the status of your application through the SFS e-Services portal.
5. If your child is studying in special education school, School of the Arts or Singapore Sports School, please check with their school on the mode of application.
6. If your family and child/children are existing beneficiaries of the Ministry of Social and Family Development (MSF)’s ComCare Financial Assistance Scheme, your child/children will be auto-granted MOE FAS. You do not need to apply for MOE FAS separately.
