Direct School Admission (DSA-Sec) for 2027 Secondary One Students

Junyuan Secondary School invites all P6 students to apply for direct admission into the school for academic year 2027. We provide the platforms and opportunities for you to enhance your leadership and talents to be Champions for the Community.

DSA Talent Area

Parents and students are encouraged to choose schools wisely based on the student’s aptitudes and strengths, bearing in mind the schools’ academic and non-academic requirements, and the programmes available to develop the area of talent.

Students who are successfully admitted to the school via DSA are expected to honour their commitment to the school, and participate in the activities related to the talent they are selected for from year 1-4.

SELECTION CRITERIA AND PROCESS

Students can apply for one or more of the areas, if they meet one or more of the criteria for admission. . Applicants who do not have prior experience may also apply. The school will assess applicants based on the selection criteria, which may include assessing the potential of the applicants.

Preferably to have prior experience in the sport

Preferably to have participated in competitions and/or attainment of awards

Display positive attitude to learn, improve and contribute

Shortlisted candidates will be invited for a one-day in-person session between 29 Jun 2026 and 20 Aug 2026.

The session comprises of two components:
· Interview
· Performance tasks
Candidates are to wear appropriate sports attire during the performance tasks.

Please note that meeting all the criteria does not guarantee the student will be shortlisted/given an offer.

APPLICATION PROCESS

Application for DSA-Sec can be submitted through the online DSA-Sec Portal. The application is free-of-charge and will be open from 6 May 2026, 11 am to 2 Jun 2026, 4.30 pm. For more details, please refer to MOE website – www.moe.gov.sg/dsa-sec.
